Zero Gravity x Peerscroller

When it comes to navigating life after school, who do young people actually listen to?

Zero Gravity has collaborated with Peerscroller to create a series of videos focused on raising aspirations and helping young people feel more confident about their futures. The four-video series explores topics including breaking down myths around apprenticeships, standing out on university applications, and encouraging students to aim high when considering top universities.

What is Peerscroller?

Peerscroller is a digital safeguarding and PSHE platform providing trusted, relatable short-form videos for young people, parents, carers and educators. Made for (and by) Gen A–Z, the platform covers topics including careers, relationships, emotional wellbeing, online safety and emerging issues affecting young people today.

Peerscroller was developed by Yipiyap, an organisation with over 12 years of experience supporting schools and colleges through peer-led tuition and mentoring. That background helped shape Peerscroller’s core approach: using relatable young presenters to communicate important messages in a way that genuinely connects with students.

Why this collaboration works

Both organisations share a belief in the power of peer influence, and that's what makes this collaboration work.

Zero Gravity mentors are typically undergraduate students aged 18–22 who support Key Stage 5 students through structured guidance on university applications and next steps into higher education. Their impact comes from relatability; they've recently navigated many of the same decisions, pressures and opportunities themselves.

That same principle sits at the heart of Peerscroller. Whilst content is scripted in-house and fact-checked, the videos are delivered by young presenters who are close in age to their audience and speak their language, making the topics feel accessible rather than daunting.

This shared approach helps build trust, increase engagement and make important conversations feel more natural. Messages land more effectively when they come from someone who genuinely knows what it's like to be a young person navigating these decisions today.
